The Book of Enoch the Prophet is the oldest known existing mystical document and is referred to in the Hebrew Zohar, The Epistle of St. Jude, and other ancient books. Legend dates the text to antediluvian times, saved from the flood by Noah himself, while serious scholarship places its origin in the second century B.C.E, as old as ancient Sumeria and Babylon. It reveals a vision of a new age of heaven on earth that figures in esoteric and occult practices.

    James D. Tabor
Stunning New Evidence About the Hidden History of Jesus

    ISBN: 0007220588
    Hardcover 352 pages

If you thought Dan Brown’s fiction was gripping, try the truth. This controversial book pieces together new evidence on the real life of Jesus. The true inspiration behind Kathy Reich’s bestselling thriller, Cross Bones, archaeologist and scholar James Tabor takes us on a startling journey that changes the story of Christianity as we know it. Based on hand-on archaeological experience and ground-breaking academic research, real-life Indiana Jones, James Tabor, has produced a compelling and bold new interpretation of the life of Jesus and the origins of Christianity. So impressive is his work that Kathy Reichs, bestselling mystery writer of the ‘Tempe Brennan’ series, was inspired by his findings to write her latest novel, Cross Bones. The truth, however, is far more gripping than fiction — either hers or Dan Brown’s. Tabor’s revelations are startling and substantiated, beginning with his accidental discovery on a dig in Israel of what many now think was Jesus’ family tomb. Piecing together new archaeological evidence, combined with the earliest surviving Christian documents, Tabor reconstructs Jesus’ real family history. What emerges is Jesus as head of a persecuted royal dynasty in exile. Jesus was leader of a messianic movement — one far different to the revelations of his maverick follower Paul who was responsible for what we know as Christianity today. Was Jesus far more human than the Church has led us to believe? Did Jesus entrust his teachings to someone much closer to him? Was his royal bloodline meant to free mankind or just a chosen few? And why did dissident follower Paul have a more lasting effect on Christianity than Jesus himself?

    Gardner, Laurence

    ISBN: 0007200846

    Hardcover 416 pages

From the bestselling author of Bloodline of the Holy Grail and Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark comes an explosive historical detective story, presenting secret archives on the mysterious life of Mary Magdalene, the hidden lineage of Jesus and Mary, and the real 2,000-year-old conspiracy involving the entire history of Christianity. Mary Magdalene is described in the New Testament as Jesus’ close companion — a woman that he loved, and his financial sponsor. And yet, in contrast, the Church teaches that she was a prostitute who became repentant. Why the discrepancy between scripture and dogma? Why does Mary appeal so romantically to artists, who have painted her throughout the centuries as something much more significant than the Church traditionally portrays? What is the secret of Mary Magdalene and how much do we really know about her relationship with Jesus? Were they married? Did they have children, and if so, who makes up the messianic lineage? Laurence Gardner takes us on a detective trail to piece together the true controversial significance of the Magdalene and its astonishing implications: • The allegorical portrayals of Leonardo da Vinci, including Mary’s coded appearance in The Last Supper • The sacred marriage of Jesus and Mary • The enigmatic Templar society called The Priory of Sion apparently formed to protect the Jesus/Mary secret marital relationship and descendants • The truth behind the Knights Templar — who they were and what their role was • The hidden gospel of the Magdalene, excluded from the New Testament canon • Mary Magdalene — goddess or prostitute? Her life and exile in France • The forbidden tomb: the secret resting place of Mary Magdalene • The significance of the Magdalene to the history of Christianity

Notes towards a Bibliography of Edward Crowley

    — Together with Library Resources and Catalogue Information [2nd Edition]

    Compiled by A.R. Naylor

This publication offers a fascinating insight into the life of Edward Crowley who produced numerous books, pamphlets and articles relating to both the Plymouth Brethren and his personal beliefs: written as a descriptive bibliography, nearly one hundred principal works and their variants are recorded with library catalogue data (or identified as being from one of six key lists of Works by the same Author).

Edward Crowley was a rich man who relinquished luxuries, devoting all of his time and money to preaching, and sending parcels of tracts all over the country to any Christians who would make use of them. It was said that he, armed with his Bible and tracts, had visited every town and village in the South of England, door by door.

However, even with his wealth Edward Crowley was by no means a vanity-publisher. His books and tracts were published in the UK, Australia, Canada and USA by over 20 different companies and he had a number of articles published in periodicals such as Words of Truth and The London Messenger.

    — — —

For those persons interested in researching the early family and religious influences on his son, the notorious occultist, Aleister Crowley (A.C.), this volume will serve as a vital resource.

Thus far A.C.’s biographers have collectively failed to adequately research his childhood influences. For the most part they simply use his Confessions as their source and regurgitate his lies, forgetting his near-relatives to seek relation elsewhere. Not one of them has properly considered the special value and qualities of the religious writing and publishing environment which surrounded him during his formative years. In addition to the prolific activities of his father, there were three other significant influences:–

    1) his uncle, Tom Bond Bishop — author of a number of books including Evolution Criticised and Walking in the Light, a founder of the Children’s Special Service Mission and responsible for publishing Our Own Magazine (a monthly religious magazine for children with a circulation of 100,000),

    2) his school headmaster, H. D’A. Champney — a prolific writer of numerous tracts, pamphlets and books (including hymnals) and a founding member of the Cambridge Inter-Collegiate Christian Union (C.I.C.C.U. ) and

    3) the C.I.C.C.U. itself — Champney used a number of C.I.C.C.U. members (Cambridge Undergraduates) as teachers in his school and when Crowley left the school he had various private tutors who were, once again, mostly members of C.I.C.C.U. A.C. claims that on one occasion A.G. Doddridge (president of C.I.C.C.U. 1895–1896) aided and abetted him in extinguishing street lamps; and recalls how when a policeman pounced upon him, Doddridge forsook him and fled! Eventually, whilst attending Cambridge University, A.C. would seriously clash with the C.I.C.C.U. — allegedly over the content of papers he had read to the Pan Society.

Essentially a practical guide - the pack contains 20 prayer cards and a personal journal - offering suggestions about how to pray, about creating a personal prayer space and removing all distractions, "The Prayer Pack" should start us off on a journey of exploration into unknown territory. For more than 20 years, Gregg Braden, the bestselling author of The God Code, has searched for evidence of a forgotten form of prayer that was lost to the west following the Biblical edits of the early Christian Church. In the 1990’s he found and documented this form of prayer still being used in the remote monasteries of central Tibet. This ground-breaking book presents overwhelming evidence that the story of Jesus is a Jewish adaptaion of ancient Pagan myth. It shows that the first Christians knew the gospels were not historical reports, but spiritual allegory encoding secret mystical teachings. Drawing on the cutting edge of modern scholarship, it proposes a startling new account of the origins of Christianity and exposes how the truth has been kept from us by the greatest cover-up of all time. The author’s astonishing discoveries cannot be ignored. History will never be the same again.
